Who can be buried at Lake View?
Lake View is a non-denominational cemetery. We welcome all races, ethnicities and faiths.
What is Pre-planning?
Making your final arrangements in advance of need.
Why should I Pre-plan?
By pre-planning your funeral, you ensure that all of the necessary details are in order. You make the important decision regarding the type of burial, location and memorial, so that you can be assured that your wishes are known and can be carried out.
Pre-planning your funeral also saves you money, since pre-planning at today’s prices protects you and your family from any future price increases for lots and services. Plus, pre-planning discounts are available. Emotional overspending will not happen at a time of need.
How can I be sure Lake View will be here when I need it?
Fifteen percent of your gravesite purchase is placed in an endowment fund to ensure perpetual maintenance of the cemetery. This fund will be held in trust in a financial institution approved and regulated by the Texas Department of Banking.
What does Lake View do with my pre-payment money?
Any money paid for services and merchandise before the time of need is placed in a Service and Merchandise Trust Fund in a financial institution approved by the Texas Banking Commission, so it will be there when the services and merchandise are provided to you and your family.
How large is Lake View Cemetery?
Lake View occupies 33 acres.
What options should I consider in choosing gravesites?
You will want to consider how many sites you need adjacent to each other. You will also need to decide if you want a lawn level marker or an upright monument. Lake View offers both.
