Lake View Cemetery represents the future of what cemetery design will be.

The Architectural firm J. Stuart Todd, Inc. was selected to design the proposed facility and cemetery layout. J. Stuart Todd, Inc. which is headquartered in Dallas, specializes in funeral and cemetery facility design and is registered to practice architecture in more than 40 states. The proposed Lake View Cemetery design maximizes the available land and creates a welcoming environment on the shores of Lake Lavon. The proposed funeral home is ranch style, complete with a full porch. It provides a comforting, residential and homelike feel. Visitors will be able to sit and look out across the cemetery’s gentle, rolling open plain as well as take in a peaceful view toward Lake Lavon. Plans call for its facade to be constructed of Texas Leuters limestone. When completed, it will enhance the surrounding area as a compliment to the natural landscaping.
